ARTEMI presence at European Microscopy Congress 2024

After a four-year delay, the European Microscopy Congress (EMC) finally took place in Copenhagen during the last week of August. With over 2,500 participants from around the world, EMC is the largest microscopy conference in Europe.

ARTEMI made a strong impression at the event, with Eva Olsson leading the opening ceremony, and Per Persson, Daniel Madsen, Reine Wallenberg, Jonas Weissenrieder, Kimberly Thelander and Xiaodong Zou having oral contributions or chairing scientific sessions.

The conference featured numerous invited and contributed oral presentations and posters by ARTEMI affiliated researchers. Among the poster presentations, Hedda Christine Soland, a PhD student at the Lund node, stood out, winning the award for best poster in the Physical Science category.
