ARTEMI Staff Scientists Visit Stockholm University and KTH

ARTEMI Staffs scientists’ team had a lunch-to-lunch meeting in Stockholm on 28th and 29th April 2026. The team members updated the status of their facilities and exchanged the scientific and technological aspects in their recent studies. In addition, short seminars related to the unique competences at the nodes – electron crystallography and ultrafast electron microscopy at Stockholm University and KTH, respectively, were given by the local researchers. On the first day, five short seminars were held , covering topics such as Continuous Rotation Electron Diffraction (cRED), Serial Electron Diffraction (SerialED), electron pair distribution function (ePDF), Scanning electron diffraction (also known as 4D-STEM), and high-resolution imaging for beam sensitive materials. The seminars were followed by demonstrations of cRED and SerialED data collection on the transmission electron microscopes. On the second day, the meeting was held in KTH Kista campus. Two short talks about ultrafast Lorentz microscopy of spin dynamics imaging and ultrafast electron diffraction of photo-induced structure change were given. The ARTEMI meeting ended with a demonstration of ultrafast electron microscopy. ARTEMI staff scientists team appreciated the researchers and speakers, who willingly shared their knowledge and practical insights. The meeting was a great opportunity for ARTEMI staff scientists for connecting and interacting with method developers and advanced users.
